Singapore confirms first case of swine flu

Per the Straits Times in Singapore, the nation confirmed its first case of swine flu on Wednesday, according to its Health Ministry – a 22 year-old Singaporean woman who was in New York from May 14 to 24. She is being treated at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is in stable condition.

    er the straits times report say health officials will give those in contact with the lady antiviral medication to prevent them frm developing the virus?? meaning got prevention one la. abit too late rite.. they shld have given out long ago??
