New Hampshire legalizes same-sex marriage

Per CNN, New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch signed legislation Wednesday making same-sex marriage legal in the state. According to the state the bill passed the House 198-16, and was approved by the state senate 14-10. New Hampshire is the sixth state within the United States to legalize gay marriage. The law will take effect Jan. 1.
