Twitter relays information on Holocaust Museum shooting in Washington, D.C.

Per the Washington Post, two people, including a security guard, were shot today inside the U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. The shooting was reported to police at 12:52 p.m. local time.

The first tweet on the incident came around that time from a Twitterer in nearby Maryland.

    Only 2 people turned out to be shot in Museum shooting. shooting reported at 12:52 pm police arrived at 1:02. Shooter's motives unkown as are specific whereabouts (however, shooter is presumed to be in National Mall area)
