Tube strike creates headaches for London commuters
Per the Guardian, London Underground says more than half of its 11 lines are running at least partial service today, but several lines remain out of service as a railroad strike continues for the city’s ever-popular “Tube.” The strike forced more than 12,000 people to miss England’s qualifying World Cup match last night against Andorra, according to the article, and it has led to plenty of headaches.
As the tube strike continues to take a toll on city commuters, London Twitter users are voicing their frustrations via tweets with the hashtag #tubestrike:
