Per Washington TV and BBC, Iranian Human rights activist, lawyer and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Shirin Ebadi urges the Islamic Republic of Iran to release the mass of people arrested following the aftermath of the presidential elections.

Speaking at a news conference in Geneva, Switzerland, Ebadi urged President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to compensate all those injured in the wake of election results. She also encouraged a new elections to be held under United Nations observers, per Washington TV.
