Pro-opposition Iran football players forced to retire

Per Haaretz.com, four players from Iran’s national football team were forced to retire after they wore green armbands in support of opposition leader Mir Houssein Mousavi.

The protests were held on-field in Seoul by Captain Mehdi Mahdavikia, Ali Karimi and two others, per  Haaretz.com.
