Protesters storm Iranian Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden

Per SVT-TV (Swedish), 150 demonstrators protested at the Iranian Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, this afternoon. Some were able to get by security and subsequently damaged the building and attacked staff members. Twenty police patrols were sent to the scene to control the situation.

Roya Hakimnia (@royah), a 24-year-old student, was at the rally, according to Sydsvenskan.se. She told the newspaper that “Ten or twenty demonstrators broke through the fence [and] entered the embassy area.”

UPDATE: Hakimnia posted the follow video in her blog, preceded by this text: “My video shows when protesters enters the embassy area and get beaten by the staff of the embassy. You can see clearly a person from the embassy wearing white shirt hit a demonstrator with some kind of baton, in red shirt at 01:20.”
