@geoffcelis, a filmmaker in New York City per his Twitter bio, was out on the water when he noticed an unusual flurry of activity near St. George Terminal on Staten Island. In turned out that the Staten Island ferry boat slammed into the pier, injuring at least 15, per Fox News.

At the time, Celis wasn’t sure what was happening, tweeting the following with the TwitPic below, ”Si ferry and a bunch of police search boats. Anybody knows what’s up”:
