Bombs strike Jakarta hotels

The Melbourne Herald-Sun in Australia reports that two bombs have exploded at hotels in Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia. The Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels were both struck; the same location was struck by terrorists in 2003. Initial media reports say at least four have died.

7:50 a.m. local time: First tweet on the incident from @DanielTumiwa of Jakarta (a Music Business, Consumer Tech, Mobile Enthusiast per his Twitter Bio), who says he was at the scene.

  • Once again, terrorists have killed and wounded innocent people. My sympathies to the victims of these tragic attacks and their families.
