Traffic slows considerably in St. Louis area after Berkeley shooting

Police are searching for a 16-year-old male suspect after he shot a cop this evening in Berkeley, Missouri, near St. Louis, reports STLToday.com. Major traffic disruptions are being cited, such as Natural Bridge Road being shutdown beginning at the Interstate 170.

@mek2600 alerted @BreakingTweets about the issue, stating that he heard from a few people the following: “Armed manhunt on I-270 by St Louis, Missouri. Traffic is at a crawl while police with weapons drawn search for someone.”
