Twitter introduces new homepage

On Tuesday, July 28, Twitter introduced a brand new homepage, showing a shift in emphasis and branding. Search is front and center of the new design, much simpler and cleaner than the old one.

The question “What are you doing?” is replaced by “Share and discover what’s happening right now, anywhere in the world.”

Most Twitter users have been fond of the change in their early reviews, though at least a few aren’t convinced about it. Here’s some of thoughts around the world:

    well at 1st i thought i Broke Twitter and then i Realized it was Changed but i like it its Alright

    I thought the same thing at first! Yeah, I think it's alright too and the more I looked at it, I think it's brilliant. Twitter did good here, I think, especially for new users.
