They are a hyper-nationalist mob with a long history of violence and intent on stirring up trouble. The border there was peaceful for years until the PAD started making trouble there last year. The temple is not “near the border” it is actually IN Cambodia, as recognised by an international court and the UN and Thailand and Cambodia and every other single nation on the planet.
