HP tops ‘green rankings’ for 500 largest corporations

Hewlett-Packard tops Newsweek’s environmental ranking of America’s 500 largest corporations for 2009. The company has created programs to reduce GHG emissions and has made an effort to remove all toxic substances from its products.

Rounding out the Top 5 green companies were Dell, Johnson and Johnson, Intel and IBM.

Newsweek released the rankings in the current issue, and also posted it to twitter; HP proudly tweeted its ranking as well:
