The states of Queensland and New South Wales are being engulfed by an unusual dust storm, consisting of high winds and an eerie orange hue to the skies from Brisbane to Sydney. Drought conditions across the region intensified the storm, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

    It's just dust... dirt being kicked around by the wind... in part due to extensive droughts in Australia. Agreed on the Apocalypse comment.
