Gunfire broke out late this afternoon between three vehicles at the San Ysidro port of entry in San Diego, California, causing U.S. officials to temporarily close that border with Tijuana, Mexico, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Times reports that some 70 people were inside those vehicles, causing for a chaotic scene and swift action by authorities.
