A mission conducted by the Indian Space Research Organization has discovered evidence of water on the moon. ISRO’s unmanned Chandrayaan-1 made the discovery nearly 10 months ago, but results of that mission are only now being made public due to intense international protocol, according to The Times of India.

The amount of water was reportedly small but much larger than expected, and further evidence shows that water is still being formed on the moon.

Since the announcement, the Twitter world’s response has ranged from skeptical–after many Indian media outlets apparently neglected to report the findings–to proud.
