Google has begun distributing 100,000 invites to its newest product, Google Wave, which attempts to redesign the way e-mail works. But that’s also led to a widespread issue on Twitter.

Directly related, a single, but very important, tweet is being re-tweeted again and again all over Twitter:

The real invite will not come through Twitter, but was sent out by Google on Wednesday to 100,000 program developers, original Google users and select businesses, according to Google’s blog. Other people can be nominated to get an invitation. The invitation to take part in a trial of Google’s latest, and probably biggest, project. On Twitter, if people aren’t RTing the spam warning, they are begging for invites or suggesting people who should get them:
