Socialist party’s George Papandreou wins Greek election

George Papandreou of the Socialist PASOK party has won the Greek elections.

Reuters reports that the socialists’ victory in Sunday’s Greek election is good news as the change brings in a strong government, which is needed to get the country out of an economic crisis.
