The University of South Florida was on lockdown today after reports that there were armed intruders on the campus.

Two people were taken into custody, and the Tampa police’s bomb shelter had been called due to the belongings of one of the suspects in custody, reports CNN. No shots were fired.

Twitter users in Tampa quickly made mention of the case. A number of USF students, workers and others affiliated with the university tweeted about the search while it was ongoing:
