TwitPics: Typhoon Melor hits Japan

The Associated Press reports that typhoon Melor struck Japan’s main island of Honshu Thursday, damaging buildings, disrupting businesses, and delaying flights and train service.

BBC News adds that one person is reported dead and more than 20 are reported injured.
