Twitter experienced technical difficulties Thursday morning: feeds were delayed up to three hours and clicking on links often brought up error messages.

One account, Twitter Tips, was quick to help users by posting some advice early on:

The link provided by Twitter Tips leads to Pipes, a program through Yahoo that allows Twitter users to still see the feeds coming in from anyone they follow by simply typing in their user name–basically, a temporary alternative for the regular Twitter called a ‘Twitter Dynamic Timeline.’ The Huffington Post quickly reported on how to check Twitter statuses in the freeze.

When they could get their messages out, Twitter users provided helpful hints to each other:
