Evangelicals voice support for immigration reform

The National Association of Evangelicals has voiced its opinion on immigration reform. As immigrants have become a large part of the population at the Evangelical Church, a strong agreement has become clear that there needs to be something done about the existing immigration laws.

The NAE also feels strongly that these reforms that they are asking for go hand in hand with declarations in the Bible. Christianity Today reported that president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, stated: “At the end of the day, immigration reform is an issue of justice firmly grounded on biblical truth”. He was happy to hear the that the NAE was fighting for such an important issue.
