Clinton urges Russia to respect human rights

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has urged Russia to respect human rights and the democratic process.

Speaking to a group of students at Moscow state university on Wednesday, Clinton said Russia must defend freedom in order to prosper and progress, Al Jazeera reports. The Secretary of State’s talk came at the end of a five-day tour of Europe.
