Newsweek reporter freed from Iran prison

Maziar Bahari, Newsweek’s Tehran corresponent, was released on $300,000 bail after spending four months in prison, the magazine announced Tuesday.

Khaleej Times reports, scores of journalists and reformist politicians were arrested following President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s disputed re-election, which triggered mass protests in Iran and charges of voter fraud.
