According to TechCrunch, if you @reply someone in the past day, Conversationlist will add them to your “conversationlist” Twitter list. People on your list are automatically updated or removed depending on how often a conversation is held.

Among one of the most unsuspected to have lost their job with MS is Don Dodge (@dondodge) – Microsoft’s Director of Business Development for the Emerging Business Team – according to a TechCrunch article. Despite being laid off, Dodge is rather optimistic in his blog.

It’s estimated that after the program is done eliminating jobs, approximately 6.3% of the company’s employees will have been let go.

It’s no surprise that Twitter is full of comments regarding the current situation, affecting people both involved and uninvolved with Microsoft.

Joe Weiss, the man who chose to donate the iPod rather than selling it on eBay, says since he has an iPhone now, he feels OK to have parted with the original. “It makes me happy that it will be preserved in the Museum forever,” he told Cult of Mac.

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone emailed in response to inquiries made by Mashable.com basically saying there will be no video upgrades to the social networking site. “140 characters of text including spaces. You know the drill!”, said Stone.

Twitter’s response also clearly aknowledges existing video apps for the site, saying to duplicate them would, “undermine the trust of developers who invest huge amounts of time, money and energy in creating applications for the Twitter ecosystem.”
