“Terminator Salvation,” the latest addition to the “Terminator” movie series, is receiving average reviews from critics.

HuffingtonPost.com reported that although the movie is “the closest thing to non-stop action since ‘The Mummy Returns’“, there is no character development and the film shows “obvious signs of tinkering.”

EW.com said that the main character, played by Christian Bale, fails to distinguish himself from other action-fantasy heroes and that the film is “basically a zombie movie with machines instead of the walking dead.”

The movie, set in 2018, is directed by McG, and the cast includes Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Common, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Anton Yelchin, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
