Rapper T.I. Plays Final Concert Before Prison Sentence

It was a party fit for a hip-hop king as rapper T.I. hosted a farewell concert Sunday night, just days before he’s due to report for his 366-day jail sentence in connection with federal weapons charges, according to CNN.

T.I., whose given name is Clifford Harris, played to a sell-out crowd of 16,000 people at Atlanta’s Philips Arena and was joined on stage by fellow rapper Soulja Boy.

The rapper arguably has displayed public remorse for his mistakes, even starring in MTV’s “T.I.’s Road to Redemption” showed him encouraging troubled teens to avoid a life of crime.

“I’m doing the best I can to get out there, man, and put something positive on these young kids, man,” T.I. said during the concert, CNN reported.  ”I try my best.  I need y’all help, though.”
