Twitter Coming to a TV Near You?

Having already taken the web by storm, it looks like Twitter is next setting its sights on the world of television.

Per Variety.com,  Twitter has partnered with Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment to develop an unscripted TV series.  The concept, which the article describes as “putting ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format,” was created by novelist/screenwriter Amy Ephron.  No other details were released.

As one tweeter put it, “Twitter is all over Twitter with this announcement,” including a tweet-out from actress Marlee Matlin:
