Following a baby shower in her hometown of Chicago, a longtime friend of Jennifer Hudson’s confirmed the much buzzed about rumor that the 27-year-old star is expecting a baby with fiance and former reality star David Otunga, reports the Chicago Tribune.

There is still speculation about when the baby is due and no word yet on whether it will be a boy or girl.
