Per The Hollywood Reporter, singer-actress Miley Cyrus signed on for a fourth season of “Hannah Montana,” the Disney Channel TV series that led her to global stardom.

The deal answers outstanding questions of whether or not Cyrus would return and, if she did, what side projects she’d able to do. The new contract allows for a long hiatus to work on a feature film, “The Last Song.”

“The series will change settings next season, during which the Stewarts will grapple with saying goodbye to their beach front Malibu home,” the article said.
