My impression was that although he has lived a rough, unmitigated, life, his achilles heel is his children. He has matured into a man who understands that any path he has taken in the past ( drug use, infidelity, rage, dishonesty) will put him back on the track of jail, divorce, rehab, and most importantly, jeopardizing the priorities in his life- his self-respect and his family. When they showed pictures of his children, it was the only time when he showed pure joy. I am glad that the man has finally realized what is important in this life. I wish more people would.
