Fox drama “House” has been named the most-watched television show in the world, Yahoo.com reports.

Eurodata TV Worldwide, a ratings agency, released numbers that said 81.8 million viewers in 66 countries, or a potential 1.6 billion viewers worldwide, watched the show in 2008.

Other winners include “Desperate Housewives” as the highest-rated TV comedy with 65.3 million viewers and “The Bold and the Beautiful” as the most popular soap opera with 24.5 million viewers.
