Not only was she dumped on live television by “The Bachelor,” but Melissa Rycroft also danced her way to the finals of this season’s “Dancing with the Stars” for a third place finish. But now she can claim to be luckier in love.

Rycroft, who will be a contributor for “GMA” this summer,  and Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland announced their engagement earlier this week, according to PEOPLE.com.

Strickland could often be seen in the audience while his now-fiancée waltzed and shimmied across the “DWTS” floor.
