Fawcett’s Son, Celeb Friends Attend Funeral

Redmond O’Neal, the son of late actress Farah Fawcett, was able to attend his mother’s funeral today after receiving special permission to leave a detention center where he is serving a one-year term for violating his probation, PEOPLE.com reports.

O’Neal, who is Fawcett’s only child, was accompanied by his father and Fawcett’s longtime partner, Ryan O’Neal.  Other attendees included actresses Joan Collins and Marla Maples, as well as Fawcett’s “Charlie’s Angels” co-stars.

Fawcett died last week after a long battle with cancer.
