Per CNN.com, Michael Jackson fans who purchased tickets to his London concert tour will have their choice of a full refund or special commemorative ticket.

“Since he loved his fans in life,” President and CEO of AEG Live Randy Phillips said, “it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death.”

Jackson sold out 50 concerts at London’s O2 Arena, with sales totaling more than $85 million.  Tickets will be refunded by See, Ticketline, Ticketmaster and Viagogo.

After his death, fans wondered how the concerts would be handled. Now that they have an answer, they took to Twitter to express their thoughts.  Some have started a “twitition” in hopes “AEG will reconsider their refund option.”
