Jude Law Coming to Broadway in “Hamlet”

Per PEOPLE.com, British actor Jude Law will be crossing the pond to star in the Broadway production of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.”  Previews will begin in the fall.

Law, who is already starring in a small-stage version of the show, last appeared on Broadway in 1995.

  • Jude Law, who got his start up in soap operas and stage plays, first came to Broadway in 1995 when he starred converse Kathleen Turner in “injudiciousness,” a play he first performed in on the London stage. Mr. Law went on to pursue a successful film career, starring in films such as The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain.
