If you can’t get enough of “Bridezillas,” extravagant cakes, bridal dresses and all of the other elements of luxurious weddings, you’re in luck. According to Boadcasting & Cable, Rainbow Media will soon launch a channel devoted to the wedding industry.

The company, which runs WE TV, is hoping to use the popularity of the wedding shows that are already running on that channel, like “Bridezillas,” “Amazing Wedding Cakes,” “My Fair Wedding” and “Platinum Weddings,” to gain viewers for the new channel. The space that would then be available on WE TV would be filled with shows directed towards parents like “The Mom Show,” “Raising Sextuplets” and “Adoption Diaries.”

Twitterers had mixed thoughts on the new addition to cable TV:

   BondGyrl In the height of the recession do we really need a wedding-themed cable channel? Cablevision thinks so. Bridezillas look for it in August.
