Per PEOPLE.com, just weeks after splitting with his wife of 10 years, Jon Gosselin is going from family man to fashion designer.

Gosselin spent a recent weekend along the French Riviera reportedly so he could finalize plans for his own line of children’s clothing with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier.

Gosselin told PEOPLE his eight children will model the designs in ads. E! News confirmed designs are underway and the line will hit stores in the U.S. by the end of August.

Meanwhile, Gosselin’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Kate is expected to participate in Maria Shriver’s annual women’s conference that will be held in Long Beach, Calif. in the fall, according to ABC News.

In an article from PEOPLE.com, the first lady of California said she had invited Kate to the event about 5 months ago– much before the Gosselins announced their split.

The conference will focus on the different stages of grief and how to continue on with your life after loss, with featured panelists including Caroline Kennedy and Madeleine Albright.

Many Twitterers disagree with Shriver’s decision to include Kate in the conference:

According to PEOPLE.com, the Gosselins are currently filming new episodes of their TLC reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” which returns from hiatus on August 3.
