ABC’s “Bachelorette” Jillian Harris went on final dates tonight with Michigan tech consultant Ed Swiderski and California business developer Kiptyn Locke, and though Ed was chosen in the end, it was not without a little drama.

Kiptyn seamed to be the Harris family favorite.  That was until Jillian’s father asked him if he was in love with her and Kyptyn replied “I’m getting there.”  Ed went for it and asked Jillian’s father for permission to marry her, which was an ultimate deciding factor at the final rose ceremony.

Another unexpected surprise was the return of Pennsylvania realtor Reid who showed up with a ring!  Unfortunately for Reid, it was just a little too late.  Ed stole Jillian’s heart and proposed at the end of the episode.
