Richard Linklater is going where no feature film has gone before: Obama’s presidency. According to Variety.com, the director is closing a deal for “Liars (A-E),” a romantic comedy that takes place around President Obama’s inauguration.

Few details have been released but Kat Dennings (”Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist”) will play the friend of the main character who collects items from past boyfriends on the way to the ceremony. The project was penned by Emma Forrest.
