The Killers, Jane’s Addiction Close Out Lollapalooza

Music festival Lollapalooza finished its fifth year in Chicago’s Grant Park Sunday night, after three days of rock concerts in rain and high temperatures. But the weather didn’t deter the more than 75,000 festival-goers who showed up for the diverse lineup, which included Depeche Mode, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Kings of Leon, and more than 120 other acts.

Attendees twittered from the festival as it came to a close with performances from The Killers and Jane’s Addiction:

fallenmarsgirl: @killhannah: Note to self-remember to bring jetpack to lollapalooza next year. My faves overlapped each other Id need a time machine lol

Goomunity: The Killers are killing it to close out Lollapalooza. Anyone across the way at Jane’s Addiction? I wish I could get thru this sea of people.

Eukadanz: Killers are closing out my Lollapalooza 2009. Nice way to end it.

erinleverton: Lollapalooza was awesome! Now we’re trying to find a restaurant in the city that’s still open :-) Sears Tower tomorrow, maybe!

elisesommers: Watching The Killers close Lollapalooza… and pretty sure these were three of the most awesome days I’ve ever had.
