Emmys Reverse Time-Shift Plans

After plans to eliminate awards and other aspects from the live broadcast of the Primetime Emmys were met with fierce objections by the television industry, The Television Academy has announced they will no longer time-shift the ceremony, TVGuide.com reports.

Academy Chairman and CEO John Shaffner said the reversal was “made to mend relationships within the television community.”

Tweeters, who had been using the hashtag #emmysfail to protest the original decision, are rejoicing at the news:
