New “Dirty Dancing” Film in Development

A third movie under the “Dirty Dancing” name is in development, but this time instead of a sequel like “Havana Nights,” Lionsgate is looking to remake the Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze original from 1987, according to comingsoon.net

Julia Dahl is writing the script.  No stars for the film have been announced.

  • I think it's a bad idea, unless they get some really amazing dancer's. I mean no one can ever replace the orginal. The original is always the best.
