Tyler Perry Dominates Weekend Box Office

Tyler Perry’s latest movie, “I Can Do Bad All By Myself,” came in first at the box office, nothing unusual for the directors films, according to a report from EW.com.

As expected, the film dominated its competition by grossing $24 million, more than doubling the next closest film, “9,” which took in $10.9 million.

According to the report, Perry has made eight films in only five years, five of which have debuted at the top of the charts.
