President Obama is scheduled to appear on CBS’s “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Monday, September 21, Broadcasting & Cable reports.  This will be the first time a president has ever appeared on the show and Obama will be the only guest of the evening.

Twitters weighed in on the planned appearance:
