During her hosting duties of “VH1 Divas,” Paula Abdul parodied Ellen DeGeneres, who will be replacing her as a judge on “American Idol,” MTV.com reports.   Halfway through the show, Abdul donned a short blond wig and danced down the aisle the same way DeGeneres dances at the beginning of her talk show.  On the stage, Abdul sat down on a talk-show-style set and asked, “Can’t a girl try out a new show?” Abdul added that she had nothing but love for DeGeneres and said she could give her advice on how to deal with judge Simon Cowell.  DeGeneres responded positively to the parody on her Twitter page.

“VH1 Divas” also featured a wide variety of musical performances.  Among them, Miley Cyrus sang with Sheryl Crow, Kelly Clarkson paired up with Melissa Etheridge, and Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder sang “All in Love is Fair.”
