“Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” Tops Box Office

The book-based film “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” was first at the box office this weekend, taking in $30 million, according to EW.com.  The animated film’s popularity calls into question the draw of movie stars, as it beat out several films with A-list actors.

In second was “The Informant!,” starring Matt Damon, which grossed an estimated $10.5 million. The much-hyped “Jennifer’s Body,” starring Megan Fox and written by “Juno” scribe Diablo Cody, earned just $6.8 million.

The romantic comedy “Love Happens” and Tyler Perry’s “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” took fourth and fifth places, respectively.  “I Can Do  Bad” came in first last week.

    no worries, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (2009) good animated stuff and it make me laugh. though i am not much interest about animation movies this one make really interest in my mind. it was fine and all characters in the movie could make us laugh. no doubt this will be most popular movie among movie lovers.
