**Updated** Hulu Will Charge Users in 2010

Updated: According to EW.com, Hulu will only be charging for some–not all–content and it is unknown when the program will be enacted.

Originally published on October 23: According to Broadcasting & Cable, the popular Web site Hulu will begin charging users a fee in order to watch online content sometime in 2010. Hulu has become the go-to site to watch free episodes of television shows in high-quality streaming format.

iTunes currently dominates the market for selling online video content, whether it be a television show or current movie. The Twitter world is wondering whether Hulu could actually give them a run for their money, or if its allure solely based on it being free:
