British comedian Ricky Gervais will host the 67th Annual Golden Globes in January, according to a report from PEOPLE.com.

Gervais, who masterminded the hit NBC series “The Office,” is used to finding success at the ceremony, previously racking up three Golden Globes while his HBO show “Extras” won Best TV Comedy last year.

Gervais will be the telecast’s first host since 1995.  The show airs January 17, 2010.
