Jonas Brothers fans can rest easy; the band is not breaking up.  But there is truth, however, to the rumor that Nick Jonas is launching a solo project, Parade.com reports.

The boys’ mother confirmed that her second-youngest son is working on a side project called Nick Jonas and the Administration. According to the article, Nick has already begun shooting the cover of his new album.

Meanwhile, PEOPLE.com reports that the other Jonas brothers are happy for Nick and that the band plans to stay together.
